PEACEFUL WOODLANDS FAMILY CAMPGROUND

Care Packages

What to Send

Anysoldier.com is a wonderfully organized site where service men and woman can volunteer to be the organizer and distributor of gifts from home. Your gifts/donations will be sent to the coordinating soldier to be distributed to his or her unit.

The lists below come directly from the coordinator and troops requests.

We've identified soldiers that come from the surrounding states and from other parts of the country. In our note, we invite them for a free weekend stay once they return.

Here is a LIST of recommended items that any unit can use!

Thanks so much for your kind participation!

Randall out of New Jersey, US Air Force

He thanks you for considering sending a care package. They work in the desert in very hot conditions. They request;
*Popsicles (the liquid ones they can freeze)
*Water Flavorings are a big hit  *Candy
*Trail Mix    *Beef Jerky    *Coffee (no Kcup)
*Portable Healthy Snacks (clif and kind bars, tuna packets, popcorn, etc)
*Moisture wicking Tshirts - Tan
*Olive Drab Comfort socks
"Anything else would be icing on the cake. I know ya'll don't have to, but considering my guys and gals for this is a great thing. We appreciate your support. God Bless".

Samrat, US Army, Kuwait

Greetings, we're from New York City, currently in Kuwait. We could use;

Karen, US Air Force, Undisclosed
A mental health provider for her installation, requests the following items to help the members who are dealing with stress and difficulty with sleep and adjustment. It would help them to know those back home are thinking about them and care. Requests;

Stephanie, Chief Nurse, US Air Force

They work long hours, Coffee and/or Energy Drinks would help a lot.
*Lip Balm/Chapstick
*Toiletries-softening bath wash, powder deodorant, toothpaste and brush, shampoo & conditioner, moist towelettes, hand sanitizer, razors & shaving cream.
*Snacks & Candies
"We are very grateful to all those who are thinking about us and appreciate the kindness"

Justin, NY, US Army, Iraq

FIRST AND FOREMOST THANK YOU! for those who do what you are doing for us. We have received packages...and the smiles and excitement from our soldiers was unreal!  Living conditions are good, still desolate and basic.  Requesting;
*Protein bars  *Jerky  *MultiVitamins
*Fiber supplements  *Pre Work-out Powder
*5 hr energy  *Coffee (drip and Kcup)
*123A batteries
"Thank you guys so much!...We all do love our jobs and are happy to be here doing what we do, but we truly appreciate what you guys are doing for us"
Aubrey, US Army, Iraq
Due to budgets...the small PX (store) is limited on amenities and often out of essentials. Below is a list of things we have problems getting.
*Coffee   *Protein Supplements  *Variety of Snacks   *Multi-Vitamins   *Feminine Care products   *Head Lamps/Flashlights
*Batteries  *Shampoo  *Body Wash
*Shaving supplies  *Knife Sharpening Tool
*Socks  *Boots, military compliant, sizes 10-11.5
